Chipmunk for Lori

Hello Friends,

Yesterday I decided it was time to paint this little chipmunk.  It is a 5×7 watercolor.  I sneaked the picture from my friend, Lori, whom I met on Facebook a few years ago.  She is a lot of fun and an awesome photographer.  This is one of the chipmunk pictures she took.  I lightened the background with a lot more blue so he would stand out more.  Unfortunately, the pink of his paw doesn’t show up well in the picture.  The concrete wall was especially hard to paint!  But as you know, I love a challenge!

We never seen any around the fish hatchery where we live.  We have to travel about an hour or so up higher to see chipmunks.  They are so adorable, though.  So here it is!

Lori, I am glad we are friends!!  And I’m glad you love the painting!  It will be in the mail next week.

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug!  🙂
