Roses for Julia

Hello Friends,

Here is the finished Rose painting I did for my blogging friend, Julia Denton.  Some of you may read her wonderful blog.  She always uses her wisdom to encourage her readers.  We have also become friends over the last year or so. Here is a link to her blog.  https://defeatdespair.com/2017/05/08/the-whole-world-2017/  Julia is a kind, hard-working woman who recently lost her husband of many years to cancer and is now caring for her disabled adult son by herself.

I cannot find the post that I am pretty sure I “borrowed” her photo of these roses from, but that is where I got this.

So Julia, here are some “virtual” flowers for now.  The real painting will be in the mail to you soon!  (My husband has to cut the matting, and I still need to find a frame.)

I hope you are doing well today, my friend.

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug!  🙂

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  4. I am so glad I stopped by here. Julia is just the kindest person around. I have not seen a post in awhile and know she has all 4 hands full these days. just seeing her comment here lets me know she’s doing well. The roses are just beautiful and will be treasured without a doubt. I’ll have to look around and see what else you have done now. Curiosity is piqued.

    • Julia, you’re welcome! I’m not sure if it will be in the mail by Saturday at this point. My husband is going to cut some matting for it and I want to get a frame also before I mail it. Hopefully early next week for sure! And yes, life happens. No worries. Perhaps our gifts will cross each other in the mail. 🙂
