Olive Ridley Sea Turtle Drawing

Hello Friends,

Meet Olive, the Olive Ridley sea turtle again, (or if you haven’t met her, she says “Hello everybody!”)  This is a quick sketch of her, but I will add an ocean background, probably different from the larger painting I did a few years ago.   I have redrawn her on a much smaller scale!  And here is why —

I wanted you to know that I am redrawing the seven types of sea turtles again to paint in watercolors on a much smaller scale, 5 x 7 to be exact, so I can get blank greeting cards made from them.  (This is in response to my “#1 fan” Jill W.!!  I love you, Jill!)  😉

So that is what I am working on in addition to doing a new watercolor painting for a friend which I am going to post when it is done.  I will be posting the second sea turtle I drew later this week, too.  Hmmm….which one will it be?

I hope you all are enjoying your summer!  We finally have some much cooler weather for a while which I am enjoying!  Stay cool…and always remember to….

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a BIG hug!  🙂

  1. Beautiful sketch I had to paint a sea turtle on a huge wall for the local school and they are not as easy to draw as some would think, you always capture them perfectly Patsy.
