Human Skull #2-Graphite Pencil Drawing
Hello Friends,
Here is another human skull I found (well, obviously I didn’t really find a real human skull!) to draw in pencil. I thought this one looked extra creepy because of the blackened background so I filled in my background as well to help it stand out more. The thing I liked about it was the fact that its teeth are missing! I also didn’t draw it exactly like the photo; the mouth is shaped more like how my dad looked without his dentures!! 😉 What do you think?
Over the next few days I am going to be posting some quick watercolor sketches I did yesterday of some of the perils that sea turtles face in the ocean every day. It is something I had been meaning to do for quite a while so when I found one of the pictures I had printed out, I decided to sit down and do them. So be on the lookout over the next few days.
Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

“Well, obviously I didn’t really find a real human skull!” LOL! Nice job, Patsy. The mouth reminded me too of my grandmother without her dentures. Looking forward to the sea turtles! Enjoy! xoxo

Thanks, Jill! I thought that was one of my dad’s cutest looks when he was aging! 🙂 Right now I am looking for the illustrations to a story I wrote! I can’t find them anywhere! Grrr!! xoxo

Thank you, I finally did just a few minutes ago! I had put them in a different folder and it was under the bed with my largest watercolor paper!! Good grief!! 😉 So that’s what I spent the last few hours doing….but at least my art area is cleaned up a bit!
