My Favorite Mug!

Crescent City Mug

Hello friends.

I realize this is my second post today, but I was a little behind on my painting challenges this week.  This will be my last one for several days, because my daughter starts back to school tomorrow so my time will be more limited.  Besides, the next few on the list don’t interest me that much.  I’ll probably do my favorite dinner food for the 20th and perhaps a few others, but I don’t know yet.  Anyway…..

This is my all time favorite coffee/tea mug I have ever owned,, and I bet you are not surprised about what is on it!   Well, sea turtles, of course!

I painted this for the World Watercolor Group’s “Favorite Cup or Mug Day” for the August 14th day on Facebook.  This has been a challenging and fun week for me in doing these.  However, this particular one took me a lot longer than I wanted it to, but it was still fun!

I bought this mug in a little gift shop in Crescent City, California, several years ago when our family went there on vacation.  There’s a reason I don’t usually do still life painting.  As you can see this mug is a little crooked, so that’s why I put the sand and water around it.  It is getting ready to get washed away!  Oh no!!!!  I  better run and catch it!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
