Nate Bunnykins
HERE’S A COLORED PENCIL DRAWING OF ‘NATE BUNNYKINS.’ This is what my friend Sherri Matthews calls her daughter Claire’s new bunny. I plan to add some grass for a background and re-take the picture so it isn’t so yellowish looking.
My daughter is starting school on the 17th so things will be busier around here again. The summer break has been so nice. I haven’t had to really get up and get out early for anywhere so having to be out of the house by 8:00 a.m. is going to feel a little tough at first. No more lingering with my coffee and a good book unless I get up earlier than 6:00 like I have been all summer. It takes us 45 minutes to drive to town, and her classes start at 9:00. Fortunately, though, our son will be getting his license soon and I won’t HAVE to take her every time! Won’t that be a treat? I think so!
I have to say I have missed blogging, but lately I just haven’t had the energy to post as much as I usually do. I also still haven’t really been working on a lot of art. I’ve kind of been in a slump, but hopefully will come out of it soon.
I hope everyone has had a great summer so far, and I wish everyone the best on whatever you are doing!

Ahh, my sweet, darling Nate Bunnykins! What a wonderful drawing, thank you so much Patsy for taking the time to draw him. Actually, truth be told, I think he is more my bunny than my daughter’s, haha 😀 I will link to this post when I do my post about him…I know my readers would love to see this! Enjoy the rest of your summer before your daughter starts school…I actually miss the schedule and routine of the school year. It’s a great discipline for one thing! Great to see you back blogging again my friend, have a lovely weekend 🙂

Grace starts school on the 17th. Tomorrow we have to go to her orientation, get her school i.d. made, get her books, and meet her facilitator. One of these days I will begin blogging again more regularly, I hope! You have a wonderful weekend, also, my friend! 🙂 xoxo
