Father’s Day Present

Hello my blogging friends. Here is a graphite pencil/watercolor I did for my husband for Father’s Day. He has always loved reading about World War 2, and admiring the types of planes they flew then. So I decided to do a drawing/painting for him of this B-29. I wouldn’t have known what kind of plane it was from a hole in the ground, but he knew right away. What a guy!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork and some writing, but I also created a blog called "My Crazy Life!" in order to simply write my short autobiography and hopefully get some feedback on it as I go. However, it is a very slow project right now. You can find it here: https://spreadingmy2wings.wordpress.com Thanks for visiting! :)

    • Thank you, Elena. Hey, do you ever go for weeks without drawing or painting anything? It hasn’t happened to me in a long while, but lately, that is the only thing I have felt like doing! And here I have so much more time now that it is summer and the kids are out of school! Go figure…….:)

  2. A nice drawing Patsy – the sepia tones are perfect for a wartime plane.

  3. This is spectacular, Pasty. I’m sure George loved it. Great job!
