Love this Patsy, it has great balance to it, and a sense of depth. Very nice!

Thanks, Anna. I really wasn’t thinking a whole lot when I did it. I was outside and it was very quick, but FUN! I just had his energy that day after watching the movie “Pollock” with Ed Harris. 🙂

This has a form I prefer to later Pollock

Actually, Derrick, I thought it was earlier Pollock, because when he was in his early career, he used brushes mostly. That’s what I did with this one.

I understood that you were emulating the earlier work, Patsy. That’s why I said I preferred it to the later Pollock. In fact I’ve never studied him and hadn’t known he could produce the form you had )

Oh, sorry, Derrick! I guess I misunderstood you. I actually prefer his earlier works, too, if I had to choose. It is not really a style I would probably buy for myself. I just enjoy exploring different artists and learning about their lives.
