Wacky Wednesdays – Abstract #2

Here is my next crazy abstract! I admit it looks like a kindergartener did it, but hey, that’s okay! I decided to face Jill Weatherholt’s challenge and do a painting with my foot!

This is acrylic on canvas. There are some toe prints in there along with a couple of smiley faces just for you, Jill! 😉  I hope you can find them both!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

Great work Patsy and a fantastic exercise to loosen it up. I try to be like a kindergartener these days because their work is so expressive, colorful and wonderful:) Love your use of color too, orange is the new black they say!

    • Thank you, Christine! Well, I haven’t heard about “orange is the new black,” but I will keep that in mind! One of my favorite parts of teaching preschool years ago was doing art with them. I never worked anywhere where teachers made the kids do everything the same like so many schools/teachers have in the past. We encouraged individual creativity which I love doing with anyone! 🙂

  2. Haha, that’s awesome – and certainly abstract. Next up, I think you should do a painting blindfolded! 😉

    • Thank you, Mary! I definitely have not know where to begin with any of the ones I’ve done so far! 🙂 I did a few the other day that I plan to post. It feels strange, but it makes me almost feel like fingerpainting like I did in kindergarten!

    • I’m glad! I just bought a couple of really bright colors (using some of my art store gift card) in acrylics that I’m planning to experiment with for the next Wacky Wednesday! 🙂 I’m glad I made your day, Jill. Hope you are having a good week.
