Kevin the Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle

HERE HE IS! Kevin seemed a fitting name. It doesn’t have any special meaning for me; it’s just a name I’ve always liked. This is my final drawing on tissue paper that I will now be transferring to my watercolor paper. Probably not today, though. I need to let my arm rest!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! ๐Ÿ™‚

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  2. Thank you, Elena! I was hoping his emotions would show through. I think he is seriously looking for food, but when he sees us up close, he realizes we are not it! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Wow he looks like quite a character…..I feel a disapproving stare reaching me from here! I’m hoping to swim with some turtles next week, so I hope they don’t all look this grumpy!

  5. Love the details – this is going to be beautiful when painted. I do like the drawing too though – something very quiet and graceful to your piece.

    • Thank you, Jill. Yeah, I’m not sure where his name came from, although there’s a guy that my husband works with named Kevin who lives two doors down from us. I’ve always liked him. He’s a young war veteran, too.

I’m glad Kevin looks curious! I was afraid he might look kind of angry! ๐Ÿ˜‰
