Kemp’s Ridley Still in Progress!!
Hello everyone! I have been feeling very challenged with this sea turtle’s pose! I am not sure it looks right or that I like it yet. Getting the markings on the shell is very difficult for me for some reason. So this one is taking some time to get done, but I am still enjoying it.
Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

I finished it a long time ago! 😉 In fact one of my past posts is of all seven sea turtles that I painted in watercolors. Just type in sea turtles in the search box and it should come up! 🙂

I like the way you have made the textures on the face using patterns Patsy. Looking good!

Thank you, Anna. The face is usually pretty tricky because of all the lines and the way the curves are of the hard shell. 🙂

Looks good, girl! Just have patience with the shell…I know you can do it. 🙂

Thank you, Jill. I think I may have it now. I worked on it for a few hours last night. 🙂

Hi Patsy I really enjoy watching the progress on your turtle drawing – nice details. A quick question, did you just send me an email (through contact page) letting me know that you couldn’t comment or like on my posts? I saw that you did comment on the latest charcoal drawing and am just wondering if I got some spam from your blog?

Hi Mary. Thank you so much! And yes, I did send an e-mail to you, because for some reason the last few times I’ve tried to comment on your posts, I couldn’t??
