Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtles
Hi everyone! As you know, if you’ve been following my adventure with sea turtles in art, I am going to be drawing and painting the 7th type called the Kemp’s Ridley. The Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle is the most endangered one living today. You can read about it here.

But just to show you how plentiful they used to be, I have also posted an amazing video that was taken in 1947!!! The conversation gets cut off at the very end, but when I watched it, I had to share it!
Finally, there is another link to find out more about sea turtles if you are interested.

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

Wow, that’s a lot of turtles! I remember once being fascinated by a documentary about baby turtles hatching on the beach and then thousands of the tiny little things desperately trying to get to the sea. I’ve never forgotten and have loved turtles ever since 🙂 Have a great day Patsy 🙂

It is a lot of turtles! I was amazed! It’s just so sad that there aren’t anywhere near that many now!
You have a great day, too, Sherri! 🙂
