HUMMINGBIRD DRAWING FOR JILL
I am calling this drawing “Jill’s Hummingbird” in honor of my friend Jill Weatherholt! She has a great blog. Check it out at: http://jillweatherholt.wordpress.com/
Here’s your hummingbird, Jill, along with a field of tulips. This was a lot of fun to do!

Gorgeous drawing Patsy, so lovely of you to do this for Jill, I can tell she is absolutely thrilled! Isn’t it great to be able to support one another like this? I’m so encouraged that you have sold some of your prints already. Things can change in just one day can’t they?
I know today is a difficult day for you, but as I said on your Facebook page, you are in my thoughts, heart and prayers. Will be in touch again very soon … ๐

Thank you, Sherri! I can tell she’s thrilled, too! She linked me to her blog. What an encouragement! ๐
Yes, things can change quickly. I am planning to set up a booth at an art walk in a couple of weeks so I have to get busy doing a few more paintings. I’m going to do some acrylics on canvas since I already have the canvases just sitting and waiting for the paint! Maybe I’ll try to recreate the ocean again! LOL! I’m not sure it would look the same. I could get it printed onto canvas, but it’s a bit costly.
Thank you, Sherri, for your prayers and support today! xoxo

Wow, Patsy! You are unbelievable! I can’t believe you did this for me…thank you so much!!!!! That is so sweet!
The drawings look just like the hummies in my backyard! You’ll have to email the pictures so I can post them on my blog…if you’d like.
I love the drawings and I so appreciate you taking the time to do this. You were fast too!
You’ve made my day. xoxo

I’m so glad you like it, Jill! I thought it needed to be in flowers. I love tulips; they are fun to draw and paint.
I will e-mail you the pictures or you can just reblog it whichever you prefer.
It didn’t feel very fast to me, but a few days on a drawing maybe is, I don’t know!
I’m glad you like it. Have a great day! xo

I’m glad! And yes, that is perfectly okay! I love your new picture! I need to change mine soon. My hair is a lot longer now.
I sold five of my 5×7 card prints of my paintings to my dentist today! A little bit of profit is always nice. ๐

Yay! I’ve added the link. I want to share your talent. ๐
Thanks! I figured it was time to update my picture, as the other one was a couple years old.
Congratulations! That is great news! Am I recalling correctly, was this the airplane paintings? How cool!

Hi Jill. Thank you so much for adding my link to your blog! I appreciate that immensely! I think I need your e-mail to send you the image. Then you could print it out?? And no, the cards I sold are of the Hydrangeas, the Rose, the Alpine Glow, the Elephant, and Sherri’s ocean. I had 5×7 cards made of all of those paintings and I am trying to sell them locally and on Etsy for $4.00. I started out selling them for $5, but I decided to lower the price. They are blank inside and come in a nice “jacket.” ๐
Thank you so much again for wanting to share my art work.
