Sea Turtle Hatchling and Eggs graphite drawing

DSCN4121[1]

I drew this while I was sipping my Mocha/Hazelnut coffee at Barnes and Noble on Tuesday. By the way, I have yet to start my huge painting. I need to let my shoulder rest some.

Make it a great day everyone, and give someone you love a big hug. ๐Ÿ™‚

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  1. Thank you so much! I have started a sketch on a sketching pad that is 18×24. And I already have my watercolor paper that size stretched and ready to paint on. That probably doesn’t sound very huge to other artists who do really big stuff, but I’ve only done that size once years ago. So it is huge to me. I haven’t done anything larger than an 11×14 in a really long time. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Jill. I liked doing it. I was looking at an old photo in a library book, but it isn’t exactly the same. The turtle’s head was kind of in a lot of shadow in the picture. I appreciate your kindness. I didn’t draw anything yesterday, but it’s funny I feel bored and restless now when I can’t draw or paint every day. LOL! ๐Ÿ˜‰
