Bright colored flowers watercolor

DSCN4061[1]

I know I said my next post was going to be one about doing a watercolor painting, but I still need to write that down. I am currently working on a painting of a sea turtle for a friend. But I wanted to share this with you today.

My husband surprised me with a bouquet of crazy colored daisies the other day (I think they are daisies). So I had to capture their colors quickly. They are dyed obviously. Over the course of the last few days the color has actually drained out of them into the water leaving white leaves! But I love them!

I still don’t draw vases very well in still-life art. I have a hard time getting the shape and right height for them. Something to work on!

Have a great day and give someone you love a hug! 🙂

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
