A Month of Thanksgiving Day 13

I am thankful for prayer.

My relationship with God is always art in progress.  And there is nothing more peaceful for me than taking the time out of my busy day to talk to Him.  I feel a lot of weight on my shoulders to build our relationship to something more than it is and I know I do not pray enough, but when I do it always brings me back to a center of things… a calming place where I can put tasks and goals into perspective.  Getting frazzled and wound up is easy-peasy for me, {I can admit this as long as I am not deep in the moment.}  but it is rewarding to find a positive rhythm with life when I am connected with Him through prayer.  It is great to put trust into someone who has a bigger and better idea of what I am doing…
