Thank you so much, Christine! I’m glad you like him, Christine! My mom made a set of ceramic bookends of koalas. I was just looking at them the other night and decided to draw one. 🙂 The wildlife we have here is mostly deer, turkeys, raccoons and skunks, noting exotic really. I love all animals, but my favorite animal is the turtle – any kind. 🙂 In fact, one day on the way to church we saw a box turtle in the road and I got out and moved it back to the creek so no one would run over it! 🙂

Patsy, I have a wooden carved turtle on the window sill above my bed. I believe turtles signify longevity. I have kept it with me for many years and treasure it. 🙂

That’s great Christine! I have never heard that about turtles. Thanks for letting me know. 🙂 I have a collection of all kinds, glass, stuffed, etc. Almost all of them have been given to me as gifts through the years.
