Going Bananas!

Last night I decided to practice painting some bananas that need to be made into bread now!  Practice is the operative word here, since I am still learning how to draw by foreshortening things.  It is so hard for me for some reason!  I think that’s why I have trouble with human anatomy!  I set these on a sketchpad near a lamp, thus the brown shadows.   Well, here’s to going bananas!

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began my first blog, Patsy's Creative Corner, I was simply going to share my artwork. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I came back into another hobby I have - writing. So Patsy's Creative Corner will still have my artwork and some writing, but I created a new blog called My Crazy Life! in order to simply write my short autobiography and hopefully get some feedback on it as I go. However, it is a very slow project right now.

  2. The secret Patsy is to draw what you see even though it looks nothing like a banana. We all seem to get locked into the trap of drawing what we think a banana looks like. It is the right brain taking over and being bossy!
